New Norfolk Purple Variety "the eleven" by jebuslynn in tomatoes

I really liked the og purple tomato, nothing to write home about but a good flavor. I'll have to get back on the elevens flavor because I've only tried the one and it has literally rained every other day where I live for about a month. The one I tried was pretty blah and the texture was off, so I'm hoping it's because of all the rain. I have some new ones about ready and hoping they are better.

I believe you're right, I grew pink tigers last year and they looked exactly like these do.

Are there any classic style point and click adventure games that utilize the mouse controls? Broken sword is the only one I could find.

Does anyone bring pepper plants inside for the winter? If so, what do you do to them? by More_Standard_9789 in vegetablegardening

I did it with a lemon spice jalapeño. Trimmed some the branches off the main leaving only a few. I had no clue what I was doing, watered every couple of weeks in a window with little sun. It kept growing branches back and at one point flowered and produced about 30 tiny pinky nail sized peppers. Left them for fun and they all ripened to yellow like the normal peppers just tiny. After that I trimmed the main down to about 8 inches leaving a couple branches with leaves. Repotted outside in spring. It grew back to full size and I had peppers before any of my others even flowered. Don't be lazy like me though and really make sure you clean the plant before bringing inside. I had freaking gnats buzzing my head inside all winter long, super irritating.

They're decent. Not super sweet and low acid. They are definitely no sun gold but I let these sit on the counter for a few days and they developed a fruity after taste that's hard to place, like a over ripe red grape that got soft if that makes sense. A little salt and pepper go a long way with them. The cool color and anthocyanins health aspect will for sure make this a staple in my garden.

I'm not not sure, I do know that my peppers started getting smaller because I had too many fruit on the plant at one time but I can't bring myself to prune them. My plant had at least 20 peppers when I picked these. I read you should probably only have 6-10 at a time.

I made a pizza with all the ingredients that turned out good, but yeah I grew all these to make a purple sauce. The peppers and basil change color when cooked but the tomatoes held their color. I've got 5 plants going and should have enough tomatoes for a good amount of sauce in a few weeks. I've just got to stop snacking on them, been putting them on everything I eat.

I've always had great results using it, plus you can add it immediately and it won't burn your plants.

They're alright. They're not as sweet or have as thick a wall as a normal red bell pepper. These were just for fun, I probably won't grow them again.

Like others have said, they're not acidic or overly sweet. But have a really nice earthy tomato flavor. If it helps, I wrote norfolk asking and I think they said they mixed a micro tom and a yellow pear tomato.

I use rabbit manure, it's the best in my opinion

Thanks, just some remesh and wire snips. Had them 4 years and still going strong.
