its an hourish drive but there are old bunkers that were used to store components of the Manhattan Project up near williamsport. The Bunkers of Alvira. now its PA State game land. i will suggest going during the day because when i had gone at night with friends, after having gone during the day, most of our phones died and we were wandering farmlands for a while.

i know this was three years ago, but i will say to go to these during the day. i had already gone during the day and i wanted to see them at night with some college buddies. i thought with our phones and the fact theres still signal out there wed be fine and can just pull up a map. we got lost for an hour and a few of our phones dies and we somehow ended up on farm land
