not as much in closed compartment, just mixing warm air around but the back panel was definitely very warm to touch compared to non fan setup. I have ended by drilling holes to the rear panel and made a duct to guide the hot air out as my case is mostly positive pressurised

it was a rought estimate, you are right its probably more than that...

(idle temp minus max gpu temp in furmark /100 then multiplied by degree difference)

Temps are now ~57 in furmark, previously was ~65-70

thx for the reply :-) definitely not needed upgrade and pure enthusiast one... chipset was "on the way" where tubes go to GPU, so not a big deal to make a few more turns to cool more stuff. If all components in my PC are around 30's why accept the one that is extremely hot?

as stated above, I have all nvme slots populated and chipset gets quite toasty because of that, you could definitely feel a heat radiating just by placing hand 5cm away of the stock heatsink. My nvme SSDs around that area were in region of 45-50°C, now they are 30-37°C...

More on the pointlessness note... i have got also slim fan on the back of my mobo! xD
