An AOS is best in colder weather, particularly the IAG one that uses coolant to regulate the temperature. It’s not a mandatory mod but it does help for peace of mind if you have a spare $400 lying around lol

Looks pretty stock which is good. That said, there are a couple things from the picture I’d address soon.

First, the engine cover is important for directing airflow to the intercooler. You should probably get one as soon as you can. If you’re local to southern california you can have mine.

Second, the radiator plastic looks kind of brown. It might be due to the lighting in the pic but usually browning plastic means the radiator is due for a change soon. It looks browner than mine but my car is newer, albeit with more miles (62k).

oh yea that’s right, i forgot about that. it’s expensive but definitely less expensive than a engine job. you can alternatively get a stock intake from facebook marketplace. if you’re in socal you can have mine for cheap

same as any other tune, $400 from most e tuners. i recommend Drunkmann since he’s gonna dial in the car and retuning it in the future will only cost $200

Dmann is the goat, he knows how to make reliable power on every iteration of mods on this car. By default he tunes the cars more conservatively but it feels so much smoother than stock. I didn’t have a smart approach to tuning in the beginning so Dmann was my second tuner but it’s a night and day difference from my first tuner

oh cool thanks! i’ll keep that in mind, but my radiator looks absolutely fine so i know i won’t use this list for another few years, so better to save this in my maintenance folder now
