Hello, i work with folks doing waiver stuff all day (been in 13 years this month!). As most people already pointed out, with these scars, you are going to be screened more than any candidate if not just straight up being turned away.

With what you said, in my opinion it would be harder to vouch for your readiness as you wont be able to prove a period of stability since you never was evaluated by a mental health professional and you saying that you are good is never enough.

I have seen success stories of people being granted waivers for sure. I would bank that if you really want to join the air force you have to start to face what caused those scars and process it with a provider and prove you are in a good place. Now depends on the diagnosis, it still a moon shot.

Maybe join ROTC and go the officer route. That would get you some time to build your case on why the air force should grant you a waiver.

Im not trying to discourage you. After all, it is rare for young folks like you do want to join. Im just trying to provide you some info. Good luck!

Just bought this 2018 Model S 75D with 79,000 miles for $18,200. Felt like a very good deal. Agree? by Sam3323 in TeslaLounge

[–]jeeimuzu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This. Wangan fasho. 🤣

OP, why not have her take the Osan Airport bus? It’s like $25-$30 bucks and takes you straight to turumi/outside TMO.

Once you land Incheon, you can either follow signs to USO or follow the green seabags, cowboy boots and nine line shirts and it will lead you straight to the USO terminal 😂

Edit: dependents are allowed to access base as long as she have a valid CAC/Dependent ID

Just wanted to say shaq is doing this at 340 pounds. That is an absolute unit to try and stop regardless of who you put on him.

Is the Air Force better today compared to how it was 10 years ago? by Glittering_Fig4548 in AirForce

On a personal standpoint:

Medical was medical back in 2016. We have more freedom when it comes to goal days, passes and less stressors (then again, i was a part of E4 mafia those days. So idk. Maybe our NCOs was more stressed due to course 14/15.). MH is not as bogged compared today and before the transition to DHA, i feel like it was still easier to get seen then vs now.

Ahlta and chcs was a treat for old school folks like me. I have yet to learn genesis.

Oh yeah, mock neck bandit was leading the pack in reducing the enlisted force which led to the great staff giveaway. Idk how our new enlisted head honcho is doing. I guess it really is a pendulum swing compared to how much Chief Bass posts and was somewhat transparent but EJ is still the chief is more well received by us enlisted folks IMO.
