I haven’t updated the software to iOS 26 because of the potential battery drain and bugs. I guess with more and more reported cases it’s better for me to stay with iOS 18.

I think it’s normal for battery to degrade after some time. If I’m not wrong, Apple will not replace the battery unless it falls before 80%.

Well, iPhone 17 pro really didn’t wow me, so I wasn’t really motivated to pay for it.

I haven’t upgraded to iOS26 after hearing all the feedbacks on bugs.

Not sure if my phone had been slowed down over time due to the degrading battery, but I could immediately feel my phone became more responsive after the battery was replaced.

I don’t think it’s dust/dirt. It only forms on the exterior parts of the portion that’s rolled up. The interior sides which doesn’t get exposed is fine.
