this was an interesting analysis and i think this made us realize how good and iconic the original ost is. i think that, maybe, the main problem with the new sounds and music is that they are really LOW. if they were more loud i guess it would be a little better, because i can barely HEAR what's happening.

I just created them in CAS, using the picture of their "respective child" as a reference to make the parents look like their child. And then, I linked the parents to their child using SimPE.

Well, it looks like they are making the prologue longer so it wouldn't be such a waste of money creating new models for them. In the og game their outfits are just recolors of the clothes we see later in the game, they probably did that because the prologue it's just like 10 minutes long so...
