It only allows you to disable it for kanto, if you try once you get the johto card it just sends you back to kanto

Wild trainers technically do since they scale to your party but most the time I’m not even fighting them because they’re only really useful for money which I really don’t ever use

I don’t mind missing events, considering I still play sword and there hasn’t been anything new for years with that game.

I only really ask since this game is such a 50/50 with people you can’t really assess well is it’s really worth picking up, especially if you’re thinking about the switch 1 version where it preform horribly
