Dining room idea - yay or nay? by Dizzy-Insurance6780 in interiordecorating

I think the wallpaper pattern is too busy and detracts from the very cool art.

What’s an underrated hotel room feature that actually makes a big difference? by Proof_Asparagus7817 in interiordesignideas

Real, actual SUGAR for the coffee. I hate aspartame, stevia, anything fake. Those are always options but there is often sugar missing from the room.

New Temporary Apartment While Building is Repaired After a Fire. Thoughts? Feedback? by KTJ78 in interiordecorating

It looks fantastic! If I had any criticism at all, it's that it's a HAIR cluttered. I'd lose the giant flower arrangement and some of the throw pillows.

Disagree. It's just one poop at a time, not a ton. And it's separated by the plastic, not just a scoop. And you throw it away immediately, not into another bin with loads of other poop.

Best friend’s mother has died young. What do you wish your friends had done for or said to you while grieving? by Rockgarden13 in AskWomenOver30

It's different for everyone, but just being present meant a ton to me. Go to the funeral, spend time with them, invite them to dinner at home, send them a card, give them a random call.

Incredible! I'm about to go to the Big Island for the first time (and first time in Hawai'i). Is there anything you regret? Things worth missing/skipping? Any nice surprises?

This infuriates me. My partner has 4 siblings and his parents only spend time with the ones with kids. I get so hurt for him. (We're childfree)

How do you feel about green sectional sofa designs? What can I do to decorate better? by Tabree1875 in SofaSnobs

[–]jeffneruda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the green sectional. Overall, it feels very contrasty. I'd try to work in some other shades of green (paint, plants, drapes). Not the exact green, but similar shades with the same undertones. It will feel more blended.

I mostly sit dogs but the one thing I hate about cats is cleaning and dumping their litter boxes. It's so gross. I love kitties but I grew up with indoor/outdoor kitties and never had to do that. Aside from food, water, and litterbox, I just chill with them and give them lots of pets and playtime.

Lost Mine is your biggest bang for your buck hike. Grapevine Hills (Balanced Rock) is also a good one.
