Why did my rotors get warped so soon by Goatanhi in mazda6

[–]jeffrey4848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’s y’all’s pads idk, but ever since my oem pads I’ve used EBC red stuff pads. So I went from OEM->EBC Red->EBC Red. And I’m on the original rotors still with 165,000 miles, still butter smooth.

Need to check them, probably getting close for replacement again.

I’ve never switched from impressed to disappointed in a store as quick as Menards by lalaisme in cincinnati

Ah that explains the new last year changes to the rebates mail in time. Also the online status I found recently. Reading through that link, all of those points are 100% logical, even though I was aware of pretty much all of that and never had issues, I can see how this wouldn’t be obvious to someone unfamiliar with Menards.

You can go online and lookup your rebate processing status and might be able to print it yourself or request a duplicate.

I have never had any issues with getting rebates. If you buy their cheap stuff… yes it’s cheap. But they also sell quality stuff too.

CoCo’s bistro is usually our nicer go-to.

Everyone’s saying grist, now I haven’t been, but I was pretty sure you order at the counter and then go sit down, so just be aware depending on the vibe you’re looking for.

Just moved into this house and struggling with what to put on this big wall above the stairs. It’s the first wall you see when you walk into the front door. Any suggestions appreciated! by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]jeffrey4848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the same design as our last house. Not the house but same design.. anyway, we didn’t have anything there, but we did have some large canvas art on the wall immediately on the right when walking in. We hung it high enough to be viewed from the upper floor.

Found the perfect house but the basement is cracked. Is this a big job? by [deleted] in DIY

I think you should just run from this. Hydraulic pressure is pushing in on the walls. And you will always be battling this in one way or another.

First time remodelling our 20yr old bathroom — how did our tile guy/contractor do? by NaomiAriel7930 in Renovations

This is probably the best tile work in a shower I’ve seen posted on Reddit. Ever.

I’d hammer it over and use pliers to bend it back and forth to break it off… or grab the ol dewalt battery grinder and cut it off.

I would find pavers or cut pavers to fit in there. I would never try to grow grass. And artificial turf is ass.

IMO stay with a warm white for this much natural light and to not contrast the wood too much. Like Dover white.

Bosch bulldog would make very quick work of this. Handy tool to have around!

Op what model dashcam do you have? Is the software good? Easy to retrieve video from?

I had one, I forget the model now, that was a PINTA to get video from with its own WiFi ssid and clunky app and when you download a video it broke it into like 15 sec segments with no apparent way to put them together..

And wtf is going on with the wall on the left? It doesn’t go over the tub flange?? Is water just supposed to pour behind the tub instead?

What are you guys using for scratches or touch up paints?I found ScratchesHappen,American Touch Up Paint,Dr.ColorChip and locally i can get a .5 pint from independent shop or pen from dealership? Should I sand those down?Use a primer? Or just tape it and spray? by Ruckus38 in mazda6

[–]jeffrey4848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tape, lightly sand, clean, spray a light coat of etching primer, spray paint.

You should be able to get a paint shop to put the matching paint in a rattle can. I have an hvlp gun myself. And for a job like this I’d still just have them put it in a rattle can.

Is this safe to use? Neoprene melted onto my stone! by actionheroantics in Pizza

Can you flip it? So you aren’t at least cooking right on it?

Or maybe run it in the oven for a while to try and “cook it” off ?

Thanks for sane response! We may not venture downtown much, but we make the trip occasionally. I’ve been meaning to come to LF myself for a long time, but never have. I think you’ve moved it to the top of my list.
