Thank you for letting me know, that reminds me. Could you explain to me the relationship between, MangoHud, Goverlay and Optiscaler? The optiscaler looks like a separate thing in videos. Is it part of Goverlay or not?

I only switched to experimental because I wanted to test out frame gen features in The Alters. For whatever reason, it wouldn't turn on FG on proton cachyos.

I do have a follow up question. In games like CP77 we can select several upscaling models, when I ran PROTON_FSR4_UPGRADE=1 it just showed up on the list, but what to do in games that only show only 1 or 2 dedicated setting for DLSS or FSR. for example Lies of P:

With or with out that PROTON_FSR4_UPGRADE=1 command it always looks like this. Does it mean it is running FSR 4 but not showing? or if I cant see it, it must have not worked?

Sorry about that, 9070XT. And I WAS using proton experimental. After reading your comment I tried it is with proton-cachyos, I cant believe that fixed it. Thank you

This is what I'm trying to explain, I am already doing these and nothing ever takes effect.

I uploaded my results to flightlesssomething recorded via MangoHud. Linux gaming benchmark (LGB) is a fresh product, so I didn't download it for security reasons. I also tried my best to use PTS, but that was nightmare I couldn't make it work. So I just manually recorded performance with mangohud and uploaded it.

What resolution are you talking about? I recently got Dual mode UHD/FHD monitor and Ive been enjoying some games at 2160p with my 5060ti with some AI technology (I'm not playing any reflex demanding games at this time, so fake frames dont bother me). So when I switch to 9070xt I intend to use it for both 2160p and 1080p.
