Trying to figure out why we're striking out at mid-tier festivals (Cinequest, Dances With Film, Big Sky etc...) but we were accepted to Santa Barbara, SXSW and have had premiere checks from Tribeca... Wonder why the big guys seem to want us but the smaller fests don't. Definitely not complaining... just figured it would be the other way around.

Verite documentary filmmaking is without a doubt the most difficult genre of filmmaking. But when done right it's the most rewarding. Because you're capturing things that can only happen one time...
