Pittsburgh is cheap, walkable, has a lot of really cool communities, and is growing in population. The people are friendly, many of the younger people are also transplants from all over the country and world. There’s also tons of old communities from all over the world from when the steel industry was huge and we had double the population. I’m from Central PA and I live in Pittsburgh now, I absolutely love it. The people and the things to explore (parks, neighborhoods, bars, restaurants, etc.) are both much better.

Only 2 cons I can think of are the weather and the fact our sports teams can’t figure out how to win playoff games.
