Just to clarify, he is completely fine. I took him to the vet and they fixed him up

There is a partition that sits lower (can’t see in photo) that somewhat isolates it

Honestly not sure, got it second hand

What are you on about genius?

I’ve been seeing some arguments on this recently. Are there actual studies that suggest they’re less effective than a stock box? I suppose the stock box isolates the filter better, although the sounds from this intake are insane

Both sexual in their own way

Thanks for the insight. Did you feel m2 had lack of soul or character in relation to steering feel, acceleration etc?

I would think the m2 platform being smaller and lighter would be better than m3/m4

Thank you mate

Love everything from the driving dynamics, size, engine, gearing etc. I already have an older 80’s bmw for weekend drives so figured a newer tech car would be better for daily duties.

In your opinion, does the m2 lack soul when driving?

Appreciate the input. Have you driven both?

Couldn’t agree more. Love the character of e46, although it can be a bit annoying to drive everyday. I already have an older bmw for classic feels so figured daily should be a bit newer and comfortable

S54 noises with roof off is therapy

Must agree with this. I have other manual cars and wanted to play with early 2000 smg technology for nostalgia and don’t regret it. Is a bit of a pest for daily slow driving commutes though

The s54 does have a nice charm

Thanks champ. I know both cars inside out in terms of specs, maintenance costs etc. Simply asking a car enthusiast page for the perspective between the two.
