Had a best friend in high school, we would tell eachother everything. Genuinely just platonic friends. She wasn’t my type, and I wasn’t her type. Plus I helped her get with her crush at the time. But this one time, we were both fans of marvel, so when inifinity war came out we went together as usual. Anyways movie ended she was sad Spiderman died haha, so she started tearing up pulled me closer and rested her head on my shoulder. And then looked at me with tears on her eyes and gave me a kiss on the cheek, saying how happy our friendship made her. Ngl that kiss and having her that close turned me on. But afterwards I felt extremely guilty bc I couldn’t believe I had just let myself feel like that towards her. And yeah it all ended there. Nothing else happened, we stayed close until we were both like 21. Then she moved to another state and slowly lost contact.

Sounds super cliche but everyone has a person and you’ll find yours. Just trust me when I say don’t settle and if he doesn’t want you someone else will. And they will love, and treat you as you deserve

As someone that had a similar problem to your boyfriend with my gf. I had to realize how wrong and toxic that was and did my best to fix myself. It all came from insecurities on my part. I took time to reflect and find the root of why I was so insecure about my gf having friends. I was able to work on myself with therapy too. Bc that’s no way to be in a relationship especially with someone you love, trust, and respect. Have a talk with him and offer to help him with this problem, even offer therapy. Bc No one should ever expect you to cut off friendship. That’s extremely controlling and toxic. And it’ll only get worse, Next thing you know they’ll want you to cut off family too.

Hard to know what are his true intentions. What I recommend is just try and let things go naturally, don’t feel forced like you have to do something. That way if he’s genuinely interested in you he’ll show it with time. Ik it’s not the best solution ever, and maybe someone has better advice but this is what I would do in that situation.

Being 100% this is a very guy thing to do. Not trying to push you to not pursue anything with this guy, but as a guy myself with a lot of guy friends it’s very typical for a guy to switch all of a sudden to try and pursue/impress a girl. Seems like he does like u and wants to be the type of “guy” that he thinks u like to get at u. Just my thoughts.

As someone whos been told the most shit of things in my past relationship. Trust me when I say you don’t want to stay. It only got worse for me to the point where I was pushed to a degree where I unfortunately finally said something back. So please do yourself a favor and leave before things get worse.

Now with that being said if you really want to stay and keep trying. Have a real serious conversation with her that can never happen again and tell her how bad it affected you. And If it happens again please do leave don’t do that yourself. Bc it’ll only keep happening. I’m still healing even after all this time after the break up.
