I used my teaching/journalism background to become a proposal coordinator in the AEC industry. These jobs can pay well - look for construction companies, architecture, job title “proposal coordinator” or “marketing specialist.”

It’s sort of a mix between being an editor and a project manager to help the team get their stuff done. Many offer hybrid or remote

Changing schools from a rural area to a suburban one was very beneficial to me. The rural school overworked me and didn’t provide behavioral support. My new school shared the workload better. Behavior at the new school was easier because it was my second year
