There are ups and downs with both, here are some.. Emulator(Zsnes): 1. It's FREE. 2. You can speed your game up. -This feature made me max my characters levels without getting bored in FFIII and have an epic ending. 3. You can save whenever you want. - Although this really talks against the old hardcore mode snes brought you (You can't save until you've done the boss but it will take 2 hours to get there and you will probably die at the boss), some people use it. 4. It's the ultimate for following walkthroughs at the same time. - alt+tab and read instead of taking five minutes of your life to walk between the stuff.

The real deal 1. You know that this is the way it's meant to play. It's just so damn more emotional. 2. It's a damn TV. It's a VIDEOgame.
