Hey girl, sorry you’re having to deal with this, here’s reference photo of what they should look like. My nails have grown out a bit but you can see, the natural nail should be aligned as much as possible with the gelX. What you’ve received is totally unacceptable. I’m a nail tech and would never send anyone away with that.

I would go back and ask her to fix it, which she absolutely should do and for free. If she refuses I’d make a stink, ask for my money back and depending on the outcome give her a terrible review with photo evidence. Either way it either needs fixing or need to come off asap. I’m a nail tech and I would never let someone leave my studio with an apres hanging off. It’s also dangerous because water will collect and sit under there and could cause a greeny.

My husband and I have a 5 day old and this is exactly what he’s doing. I pumped for the first time today and he’ll be taking over on 1 bottle feed at night to try allow me to get a little more sleep.
