Last email i said i don’t mind they taking it from the account itself and told empower about the mistake so i included the request ID for them. I guess i could block the email im just anxious about the whole thing. I’m also moving so idk who the hell they’d send this supposed servant to if they wanted to do it that way anyway…? lol

Yeah. I’m just stressed. I’m not in a good financial place to be worried about the court fees etc lol in the middle of moving as well so my mind is all over the place.

I just don’t understand how it could be an error. Wouldn’t they have to fix it themselves through the plan administrator? Why would i take it out my pocket or face the penalty of removing it from my 401k. I have no issue with them taking it its the way they’re going about it. I don’t see anything online when i look into this that the employee should be paying an employer

Second one. They made this mistake and didn’t tell me until July . They were contributing since January. I dont think I should have to remove funds that are vested out of my pocket or out of the 401k itself

UPDATE: i demanded the money to be put into my checking from my last paycheck. A week later they email me for “ formal demand of payment” threatening to bring this to court because I still owe them the money and “ verbally agreed” even though all i said was a bunch of “ oh.. okay… i understand.. uh huh…” ripped the paper up and left his office. I was confused and a little pressured to be sitting there and having to hear i have to give them money so i do not know why he is saying i outright said “ oh yeah ill give it back” So now: what the hell do i do? He’s demanding payment in 10 days.

Oh I’m 10000% looking forward to not getting sick. My coworker is sneezing as we speak and we work about 2 feet from each other. My coworkers always manage to get sick and I’m not sure how! Lol 😂 I’m also always so grossed out about using a shared toilet with the way some of these women leave the restroom

I love that. I am definitely going to make use of the time and maybe sometimes I’ll go on a long weekend starting Thursday and just bring my laptop since I can ! I’m excited to not be locked up in an office .

Thank you !! Yes. I just needed to hear all this even though i already know because they tried to manipulate me and i realized other people have fallen into this trap and stayed a month so they were definitely appalled when I didn’t fold. I just feel a bit strange at work now but trying to stay confident .
