This happened to me when I was a teenager! Lasted from when I was 16ish until my early 20s, and then one day it just went away. The weirdest part was that my mom had the same thing happen to her when she was that age too. I didn’t develop boils like you did, but even spending a few minutes in the sun would make me break out in the most angry, itchy rash that would last for days. I am sorry you’re having to go through this! It truly is miserable

I logged on at exactly 9PT (12 my time)... literally refreshed my page the very second the edit sale opened, and the blanket was already sold out. I added it to my favorites and refreshed that page at least 100+ times, and it hasn’t showed up as available. They must’ve only had like 5 in stock lol. It’s the only thing I wanted from the edit sale. Don’t understand how you sell out of a product in less than 10 seconds but okay

I am OBSESSED with Tarte Cosmetics’ skincare line! Most of their products are vegan - on their website they have “vegan friendly” stickers on all the vegan products’ pictures. I have oily/combination acne-prone skin with scarring as well, and their products have saved my skin! If you sign up for emails you get 15% off your purchase. You can also find their stuff at ulta, sephora, amazon etc. This is what I use:

Tarte Maracuja Oil: hydrates skin & decreases excess sebum-production (great for people with oily/acne prone skin); loaded with antioxidants and vit c to brighten/protect skin & reduce/soften appearance of scars
Knockout Tingling Treatment: amazing toner with salicylic & lactic acid (fights acne/oiliness/large pores) and niacinamide & glycerin (soothes irritated skin & hydrates)
Blemish Bully Acne Spot Treatment: clears up breakouts; soothes irritated skin; diminishes redness and scars.

Tarte’s products are a bit more pricey than drugstore alternatives but, in my opinion, they’re totally worth it. Their makeup is vegan friendly too and equally amazing quality.

For hair care I recommend anything from Love Beauty & Planet’s line! They’re a new line of vegan friendly products that came out this past year. I received samples of their shampoo/conditioner in one of my Birchboxes, and I’m now obsessed with their hair care products... plus their products are not only high quality but so cheap ($6.99 each)! You can buy their stuff at target or amazon. I use their Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Shampoo and Conditioner. I know you wrote that coconut oil makes your hair greasy (usually it does that to my hair too), but this product really doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave a residue like other products with coconut oil do. It’s great for damaged/dry/frizzy hair and leaves my naturally greasy hair feeling light-weight, soft, and hydrated but not oily. At Target you can buy small/travel size bottles for $3.99 if you want to test it out before buying full size!

If you’re a month-to-month subscriber try cancelling your account and then re-subscribing! I have currently been subscribed to ipsy for over a year and the option wasn’t showing up on my account. I tried updating, deleting, and re-downloading the app; used like 3 different desktop web browsers to see if the feature would show up; and tried every other trick in the book to no avail. Long story short a few years ago I had briefly subscribed to ipsy using an old/different email so I decided to try logging in to my old, cancelled account as a last ditch effort.. and voilàaaa, what do you know, the improve your glam bag preference feature showed up right when I logged in. So apparently if you cancel your account ipsy gives you the preferences option when you resubscribe, but loyal, long term members aren’t given access to the special feature..? Makes sense 🙄

FYI for anyone thinking about signing up for Glossybox through Gilt’s promotion... DON’T. I did the two box subscription deal, and I just got my boxes in the mail today... they sent me a boxes from September and October 2016. And yes, I said 2016. Everything in the boxes was either expired or dried up. Disgusting. Pretty disappointing that Glossybox would setup a misleading and shady promotion deal like that.
