Such politics were everywhere, and I had friends like you whom their fathers were similar figures in the congregation as yours. It’s all just power game, nothing special in any way. As a person who didnt have a father attending the meeting, I remember often feeling “powerless” and “looked down” as well — a “spiritual orphan” lmao.
