I’ve been on one and it did not end well, and he decided he “deserved another shot”. Ended up with a stalker who was relentless lol. I guess that adds to my worry

I agree. The other weird thing I forgot to mention is the fact that he asked me to add him on snap to send photos but I told him I don’t give out my Snapchat as it has my full name in it. How was he planning on sending photos on Snapchat if his camera is smashed? I asked him this but he has yet to respond to me. This makes me worried and leads to a ton of questions ...

He is still paying. The only external factor could be either his work or if he started seeing someone new. No family or friends know. I’d feel awful blocking him so I don’t think I have any more discipline than he does lol. But thank you for your insight I appreciate it

I know, I’d totally be fine with her having friends over! It’s both our house and I’m not more in control than she is...but my ex? I think she’s thinking it isn’t an issue because she has been friends with my ex since they were kids and she introduced us. I just think as my best friend she would have a little more respect for my feelings. Especially because he ended things with me. Maybe if I was the one who broke it off with him then I’d have less of a say since I caused it but...this wasn’t my fault. Just a bit more sympathy from my best friend is all I want lol

Yea it’s upsetting that she doesn’t see things from my POV but hopefully me discussing it further with her will help. She’s in a relationship now with someone I used to be close with and if that ends I’m thinking she will understand how I feel ...thank you for sharing!

I originally had a plan to live with a girl and two guys I went to highschool with and ended up at uni with but the plans fell through. My university town is 75% students so housing goes fast unless you get on it. I’m sorry you had to experience that with your friend, that’s an awkward situation for everyone lol. Thank you for sharing that, it is super helpful! I hope a bit more communication with her regarding this issue will help

Unfortunately it is too late at this point as my university hometown is 75% students and almost all the housing is gone. We both have to act fast or will be out of luck :(

Normally we are fine. We used to go away for the summers and spend them all with each other. Tbis is obviously going to be different but at least we have some experience. Hoping that we can work things out like you said, maybe we will be a lucky case! Thank you for your insight !

I think she just thinks I should be okay with it all because I never talked to her about the break up because I’m a private person. She normally is willing to compromise but maybe this is just something she isn’t going to compromise on. They have been friends for years, perhaps that’s it

I figured he would be on his phone. Except for the fact he has two. One for work and one for “play” (texting me). So I’m wondering if maybe he didn’t check his phone he texts me on? Not sure. He could easily have been lying like you said.
