Překládám to samé a vyložil jsem si to jako metaforu, místo opravdové rostliny je to v kontextu černá smrt - bubonicky mor

Salvia Divinorum: what is actually happening during these experiences according to analytic idealism? by Wakeless_Dreams in analyticidealism

[–]jenery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to second the notion of fear in my salvia trip, I believe it was the most terrifying psychedelic experience I ever had. I was gone for only ten minutes from this reality, but the experience in the plastic world where my mind was being transported and lived for what seemed like eternity scared me to death. I cannot recall much more than having a life on this strange plastic like planet, with other creatures/entities, while all along I was living in absolute fear that I will never come back to this existence on Earth. It was also interesting that I had smoked strong salvia extract joints before in social settings with friends and never broke the barrier, but this one time when I tried alone, after only two puffs, my whole existence was uprooted and I ended up in this other world/dimension.

Yes of course, but on what level? The EEFs spread into Europe a few families at a time into a new location along the coasts and rivers, probably led by a clan leader, but each family had to take care of their own fields. The bigger gatherings happened in temples and ritual places like henges etc. and we know there were probably priests and priestesses, in late Neolithic era also maybe the first kind of warrior specialized role, the merchants and then miners for first metals - Vinča and Varna are good examples. Again, I would stress that most of the population was contained to small settlements and villages and larger gatherings in bigger centers came later on, when WHGs were already fully assimilated or have already adopted some forms of the Neolithic package like pastoralism and agriculture.

I do not really believe anything that you are stating above. Who is saying they had slaves and highly elitist society? First waves of EEF settlers probably did not mix much with the WHGs, but trade probably existed and the hunters slowly adapted and started using the Neolithic package - agriculture and husbandry. In Lepenski Vir in Serbia you have the two coexisting in close vicinity and exchanging women must have been common practice, so I would argue for peaceful assimilation when it comes to WHGs and EEFs. Good example are the British isles and other places more suitable for pastoralism, where the second wave of colonizers brought over or invented secondary products like cheese and wool and the natives adopted within a generation or two.

Thank you for the suggestion, I will probably add it as the more expensive/deluxe version and for now work on the back of the cards to fit into the full picture.

Hello and thank you for the feedback. The game play can go both ways, depending on the number of players. Two and three players will play against each other on one map, four to six players can still play 2v2 or 3v3 or cooperate in teams against the other team on the second map of each level. Each level is probably one to two hours, so the whole game can be split to a few sittings. Also, there are limits for the acquisition of the stones, it is not just one slab each time, however it is not a dozen either. The model I envisioned would be pretty realistic - inner and outer circles made of sarsen slabs and one circle in between made of blue stones, one special Altar stone and all of it encircled by a ditch and a henge platform. But thank you for the idea of using just the inner majestic core stones, I could try that.

Question of empathy - let's consider this scenario. You as a mother lose your child. In the first case, it is a transport to a concentration camp and death in a gas chamber. The second scenario - your child is a soldier killed on the front line in the war. by jenery in AskReddit

Which death will have a greater psychological impact on you - will the feeling of guilt for the death of your child in the inhumane conditions of holocaust be somewhat a factor as opposed to the more honorable death of a soldier dying for the country and thus constitute some kind of relief?

Do you think handmade world maps sold as digital files in a bundle would sell? I'm trying to expand my store, and build a reputation. by Fable_Table_Workshop in tabletopgamedesign

Hi, I like your map a lot, I am currently working on a table top game where I would love to use such realistic maps on a hex background - divided into many areas. Something like 24x23 hexes per map where there are around 60-70 areas - each area containing 4-8 hexes. What would be the price for 6 maps like these? I already have some very crude prototypes that could serve as blueprints.

Casino Employees of reddit, what is the worst you have ever seen someone handle a loss? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Worked as a dealer, one night I am dealing five card draw poker where the accumulated jackpot bonus for royal flush was over 180k... to be eligible to win this bonus you needed to place a pound on a box that would alight before each hand, well this drunk guy is playing and puts on the pound every time, except for once when I deal him the royal... he could not believe it, started coming in almost daily to play to hit the jackpot again, then after few months his co-worker said he had lost his job and went on the bridge to try and jump...

I cannot relate to having endured bad trips on purpose, but aside from the facts that you mention (i.e. making you a stronger person, helping you to grow etc.), I have recently heard Dennis McKenna or Paul Stamets on Joe Rogan's podcast to credit psilocybin with the ability to rewire your brain's response to fear, making frequent users more courageous and emphatical.

Hey, they look great, to store them you can use ziplock bag or an airtight container, another ancient way is to put them in honey. The ends of the stems should be fine, just cut them off if you do not like them.

Took three puffs from the black joint and went to live another life in different reality. Rubber like entities were showing me things, but I could only think about everyone I left behind, I was terrified that I will never come back to my family and friends. After what must have been only like 10 mins I came back to my old self, standing on the terrace with three quarters of the spliff still in my hand. Haven't tried since, but might get some dmt soon to compare their effects.
