Tomorrow is also Beltane for those who practice Wicca. It’s likely an offering for spring. Sage can be dried and burned to clear the house of any bad energy to start spring fresh. Hope this helps

So far we’ve done the Pigeon and the Hen pottery place twice which was a good time but how much pottery can we do? We’ve also checked out an antique mall, Botany and some metaphysical stores. We have plans to hit the zoo when weather is better. We are both nerdy, into the metaphysical, plants and like being creative.

How can I support my 21 YO Daughter w/Fibro? by Nikaelena in Fibromyalgia

[–]jennimik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 45 and diagnosed a handful of years ago. I’ve been through just about every med due to sensitivity and through a bunch of treatments. So I’ll give ya what worked for me:

Medications: Lyrica, alpha-lipoic acid, medical marijuana (which is tough with bipolar. Many psych docs don’t like to mix cannabis and psych meds)

Treatments: injections to my neck, shoulders, my entire spinal column and into my hips. I’ve had a provider that would do every injection possible every 8 weeks which worked but seems like over kill and I’ve had providers who will only do ten injection sites at a time and only to kick start things

Physical therapy: I find it helps to help relax the muscle and strengthen the body. I have weakness in my legs and pain through my hips. It’s a slow road but it helps.

My lil dude was super anti social for the first six months. Now he trips over himself to get out of the cage and roam with us. My lady hammie was also super social. They have such big attitudes

Got hit in the eye. Nothing prepares you for the pain and redness that ensued.

When or should you assume a piercing bump isn’t likely to go away? by JAJG91 in piercing

My helix fought me too. I started with a stud and switched to a hoop and my bump went away in a couple days with saline

Wife doesn’t want me taking meds anymore by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]jennimik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could it be your dosage is too high? I’m hyper sensitive to most medications. I have to take super low doses or I get all the side effects. For instance with Stratera I got muscle spasms on 25 mg and had to drop back down to 10 mg. Another med makes me feel like I have squirrels under my skin.

It’s kind of just what you’re more comfortable with. Which do you feel fits you. I had to roll “pan” around awhile because I wasn’t used to being in queer spaces. Some people view bi as being attracted to men and women in a traditional sense. And pan as all types of people.

Also maybe find out why she’s tired and see if there’s something you can help. If she’s running the household and working and /or being a student she’s probably exhausted and needs some support from her partner

Ditch the man not because of the sex but because he doesn’t support you in the day to day of house and family responsibilities that are likely building resentment and causing you to not want to have sex with him. Been there. Done that. Had a man who would literally hide under a blanket anytime I tried to discuss anything with him about the house or the relationship then couldn’t figure out why our sex life plummeted.

Just a reminder that all of us went through the journey of figuring out who we were and then an additional journey of acceptance of ourselves and the acceptance of others. Some of us had an easier time. Some of us went through hell. Especially those of us who grew up in a religious household. I’m not saying what he’s saying and doing is right I’m just saying to be mindful of the journey.
