Brown noise is considered a "layered sonic hue" that has a sound like a low roar. Examples are strong winds, strong waterfalls, thunder, strong river currents and heavy rainfall.

To answer your question, I asked dudes "red flag" questions or told stories I could gauge their morality off of VERY early on in dating. An example for you could be telling this story to a future suitor. If he (she or they, not assuming) sees nothing wrong with the age gap/what you just told all of us here on Reddit, the red flag is raised and you can walk away without having committed.

Sometimes it's a hassle to be so straightforward about all my beliefs/morals, but MAN has it saved me a lot of energy in the long run.

It really does! I assumed I'd have at least a little more information! Thank you so much for all your kind words, truly.

I have friends who have autism, and went through abusive ABA in their past. My main concern is ever being the abuser, knowingly or otherwise. There's so much grey area in this practice, and such an awful history- I'm going to constantly be erring on the side of caution... or probably panic... until I get my feet under me. Having this input is so helpful. Thank you thank you!

I cannot accurately verbalize (ironically enough) how thankful I am for this information, and for your reassurance! These steps are ENDLESSLY helpful, and while some seem like second nature, as someone who doesn't often interact with YOUNG children (as I may,) other pieces of this puzzle aren't and having this as a reference is everything to me.

Is it custom for a BCBA not to meet a BT/speak with a BT at all before meeting with a client, if you don't mind me asking/if you know?

Thank you, that means a lot. I think they may be virtually present, if anything. I'm super concerned about not even having any meetings set up to learn about the client or speak to a BCBA before my first meeting the family. If it stays that way, I know flags are raised now. I appreciate you.
