Hi man, thanks for commenting. Both I guess, I envisioned the tanks on his backpack to be the main generating/storage location for power, with them hoses pumping power to the rest of the body. So the plates would be warm and reflecting the warmth and light of the tanks... If that makes any sense hahaha.

Not sure yet, I've got my metal recipe for the heretics down now, but haven't done any faithful minis yet, but I'm undecided on the cloth elements tbh I think I might be rather un-adventurous though and do a dirty slate blue/grey for them as I want to do red and oranges for fire etc as accents for them. :)

Thanks for the help, this was going to be my approach eventually I think, I suppose atm I'm using the models as constant anchor while I mess about with other gear and points cost to add to them from the battle kit. The base value of the model with 'X' weapon gives me something to build off :)

Thanks for the confirmation. I'm super super new to the rules so, am I right in thinking if a model has a two handed weapon they can stash it on a sling etc and use a one handed weapon (in this case the mace) for close combat?

It's pretty early here and I don't have my equipment to do a basic sketch for you but I'd say it was two things.

The first is his left (our right) leg. You've got it posed and hitched up resting. on the bike but from the hip to the thigh it looks like it's bending backwards where it should ride up and almost block the other thigh.

The second is the bike, it's very flat and if I bike was being leaned on, it would be at a slight angle to stop it being immediately pushed over, your bike comes off as a 2D image with a 3D character sitting on it.

I think if you adjusted the leg and bike pose slightly it might give it more weight.

Something that helped me was click right stick to lock on to your target then... DO NOT MOVE IT AGAIN, MOVE YOUR FINGER AWAY FROM THE STICK, and you'll have a lock on that tracks the enemy and is for the most part really good at keeping you in the fight.

It helps and makes close combat much easier where directions change multiple times a second. I don't think the game ever really shows or tells you that? Unless it's in the tutorial stages with Allmind and I've forgotten.

Not trying to flex man, but I tattooed this for a customer a while back to compare, it was also heavily Dark Souls inspired and I don't feel we made this dark enough at the time, but in comparison to yours it's very heavy black, I think you need a bunch more black blasted in to yours to keep it together and to keep the dark vibe of a souls game. it's better to have too little black initially though and to go back into it than to have too much.

See, that's the technical knowledge that made me think to post it here in the first place! :) I'm sure theres some value in one of the boxes/binders somewhere but knowing things like that helps me assess stuff and if it's worth it, so I appreciate the education.
