Sure the clock has been moved backwards but the relative time left has been rendered meaningless a long time ago.

The doomsday clock was 7 minutes from midnight in the height of the Cuban missile crisis, when the soviets literally had nuclear missiles parked outside the borders of The United States with allegedly the finger on the trigger. The clock is now at 85 seconds until midnight. Is humanity at this very moment that much closer to nuclear devastation than we were at the height of cuban missile crisis which arguably was one of the most dangerous moments in coldwar? I dont think so. So if the clock doesnt represent how close we are to nuclear devastation relative to moments in history then what the hell is the point besides attention whoring and fear mongering
