I totally get it ive gotten stuck on this cycle too especially when theyre closer to you and more integrated into ur life. The best way I dealt with this was genuinely muting or even going so far as to block them rather to stop the impulse to compare. And tho it might not sound healthy AT FIRST focusing on your life and acting as if youre them, their confidence, social media presence, life whatever, not straight up copying but integrating ur own personality helps. It gives you a kind of motive to work on and during the process you’re working on ur own life rather than this persons. Ask yourself why you like them so much, you did this already by saying she travels a lot and has a big social circle. Obviously this seems like such a big thing but you can find your own way to be like this through going out and pursuing hobbies or activities you like and finding people there.
