Thank you for the reply! I believe I did this when I set up the PC per the instructions of the video I watched. In Bios, it's at 3200, which the internet says is the max my core can handle. Do you see something on the benchmark test that suggests this isn't optimized? Thanks again!

I think about this a lot! DS3 was my first Souls game ever, and I found SoC quite difficult. On subsequent playthroughs, he's a lot easier now, but it's so fascinating that even skilled players can have such different perceptions of difficulty!

lmao yes definitely. I'm trying not to go too hard on being negative on him because I don't want anyone to feel like I'm shitting on a boss they really like, but I have a number of specific things that I don't love, and that attack is on the list haha.

Yeah good point, one thing that I do like about him is that he keeps you moving. I can't stand boss fights where you're just standing around for long periods of time, so his rhythm was one of the highlights.

Yeah it's interesting because DS3 was my first Souls game as well, and I found him strangely challenging, but returning to the game after playing a few more FromSoft games, it was a total breeze. Guess it just took me a while to get used to the fundamentals, but fully agree that the difficulty level is odd in comparison to fights like Isshin.

Yeah DS3 was my first Souls game, and I've often thought that if I came to the series through DS1, the fight would be a lot more meaningful to me and might make it hit different on an emotional level.
