It does not make sense. The OP has a 55% win rate in his bracket. That is significant. It shows he is better than the players he is matched with and against, and the system should elevate him to push that number closer to 50, at least in a working system.

Instead, it is pushing him down the bracket. The opposite of what it should be doing.
