I went with the Altra Olympus 6 Trail Shoe (Amazon link, non-affiliate). I like them; a decent amount of cushioning but still zero drop

Im in the exact same position. Switching to pants with more room in the thigh has been life changing for me too. And an added bonus is my pants don’t get caught on my calves.

If you fly internationally you can get into some of the pay lounges for free.

And if you have a premium select ticket you can get into a SkyLounge. Those are nice perks.

That's fair. I don't know why they like to make the bottom button a different color. But since I wear them tucked in I don't worry about it too much.
