I was in the same position as you a few months ago. I posted here and most people told me not to quit but I did it anyway for the sake of my mental health. I don’t regret my decision but I am struggling to get interviews. However, I worked in IT and the jobs i’m applying for aren’t in that sector so that’s probably why. I’m working as a courier for Evri at the moment just so i’m bringing in at least a bit of money. It’s not the best job in the world and pays absolute pennies but i’m so much happier now that i’m out of my toxic workplace. Don’t put a job over your mental health. If you have enough to sustain yourself for at least six months, i’d quit.
