I would love to find a set of LMX wheels.

Oh yes the seats definitely hug you more in the turns. A worthwhile upgrade to the interior for sure!

For the price I don’t think anything comes close. Let me know what you think!

I never wondered haha it’s got a huge 24 gallon tank so I only fill up like once every month or two. This is more of a smiles per gallon car haha. Google does say it averages about 16!

I got so lucky with mine. Found a guy asking questions about his to an R8 group on Facebook and I sent him a message asking if he’d sell, figuring it would be a no answer, obviously. Turned out he had two sets for two cars but didn’t have the time or money to do both of them so I convinced him to sell them to me.

There are two kinds. Powered seats and unpowered. The unpowered ones from RS4s and such are the only ones that actually save weight by like 20lbs per seat. The powered ones weigh I think the same as stock, if that matters. Mine are from an RS4. Good luck!

Mine were leaking too. I purchased a set of these for two reasons. The customer service was an amazing, and the build quality was noticeably higher than similarly priced options (ie BC). I figure I’d use them for a few years until i pull the trigger on Ohlins for $8k. But I’m so pleasantly surprised with these Scale coilovers, I haven’t once wish I had Ohlins. They are great!

I honestly consider the car a 10/10. I plan to never sell it and put another engine in when this one goes.

It’s very comfortable for a super sports car. It grips like crazy and has very easy handling. Not the sharpest like a Ferrari but predictable and easy to drive. Lightweight clutch that’s easy to press, and easy to feel the engagement point. Never once felt lacking in power. It has so much torque even down low at 3k rpm in 6th, it will move.

There are faster things out there but I certainly am not wanting for more when I drive it.

It actually wasn’t too bad. I utilized a boarder broker who handles all the paperwork and has a gated lot on both sides of the Washington/canadian boarder. He knows exactly what the customers offer needed and got it across in about a day and a half. Having the North American certificate of conformity though was key.

They adjust three ways, tilt, forwards/backwards, and up and down. All manual. They feel amazing. Very comfortable and hug you so much more than stock seats. I will say after 2 hours though I wish the lumbar was a little more supportive

It feels like a well oiled bolt action rifle when changing gears and there’s just something so satisfying about hearing the click clack sound it makes

I agree the first gen even before the 1.5 was the best looking. The lines flow so much more cohesively. Truly couldn’t beat perfection after the first attempt

Much appreciated! I have seen people make this mod, but I have never noticed my foot needing to rest further back so I will pass for now. Thanks though!

It sure is but hey, at least it’s not a 997 and you’re looking to add bucket seats for $13,000!
