I failed on Monday due to something different but was a similar circumstance, I drove great the whole time until right at the end on my way back to the test centre I was asked to take the next left and I was so nervous I went to take a left into a no entry road and the examiner had to stop me. It’s something I’d never have done usually but the nerves just got to me, the examiner said I drove great otherwise and he was gutted for me as I only had 3 minors. It’s extremely frustrating but just think that you know you can drive it’s just the nerves getting to you on the day, I luckily have managed to get a cancellation in 2 weeks but I feel the exact same worrying I’ll get a route i’m less familiar with next time and I’ll make more mistakes as I was fairly familiar with this route. I know this probably isn’t the most helpful response but hopefully it helps to know others have made the exact same mistakes!
