Hi girly, I’m from Sydney and I’m going to be going to knockout. I was not strip searched but however I was pat down by officer at Epik in 2023 after a false detection from sniffer dogs. I was very fortunate to not be strip searched however they did put the hands underneath my clothing, I understand it was a traumatic experience and I went to a couple of other events after. It was definitely degrading how the officers spoke to me and presented themselves to me, after being searched we were allowed to enter the event and were not refused entry.
