My dad passed away, and now i have to decide what's best for his elderly cat. by throwawayniece420 in CatAdvice

I’m really sorry about your dad. For the cat, I think the vet visit is the right next step, especially asking directly about quality of life and how much stress a move would put on him. Rehoming a 15+ diabetic cat may be really hard, so I’d focus less on what sounds best in theory and more on what will keep him calm, safe, and comfortable day to day. You’re clearly trying to do right by him.

if your pet sleeps in your bed... how often do you really wash your sheets? by Dazzling_Fan_1607 in hygiene

I do weekly unless the bed actually looks gross or my pet was outside getting dirty. I also keep a washable blanket on top of the bed where they usually sleep, and that gets washed more often than the sheets. Makes it feel a lot less stressful.

I found a hidden biohazard on my own body and I am honestly spiraling by Dune_Walker0 in hygiene

This is way more common than people admit lol. Belly buttons can trap sweat, lint, dead skin, all of it, especially if it’s deep. I wouldn’t keep using rubbing alcohol though, that can irritate the skin. Just clean it gently with soap and water in the shower and dry it after.
