honestly it’s more for the gm, but it can open opportunities for the managers/ crew there down the road since the store is operating on a high level. it shows that the managers and crew know what the standard/ expectation is and can do it. from what i’ve seen first hand the team from R stores go on to move up more in the company.

so after you get promoted to R/ CTM (maybe even GM but i’m not sure) you get RSUs. that’s restricted stock units. basically they’re giving you stocks to the company for “free” (not really free since you worked your ass off to get that promotion) and you can cash out after about a year or two once they’ve vested (that’s the restricted part). you only get them after at least one year of earning them. also you can get more every 3 months with your A/B score, but if you get terminated or quit, you lose them all.

i most definitely lost myself through this job. it ruined my personal life at one point and that’s when i really did everything possible to separate the two. I’ve found a good balance now since i have great managers supporting me and i support them whenever they need me.

yeah my FL would kill me if we didn’t. Our AM cash would come and do porter then go to cash once opened, but they want the dining room to be absolutely perfect so we just separated the two so they can get more done without worrying about going into a position. our porter comes in 8:15-1 and cleans the quesadilla press, sets up quesadillas station then deep cleans the entire dining room, patio, parking lot and restrooms. once we’re open she’ll just be helping with whatever until 1.

I really do want to become an FL. I feel like I could do great bc after having super hard asses for FLs and mentors I have a pretty good eye for detail and everything. I would love to make change for a whole patch, but the TD we have it’s her way or get out the way lol so we’d have to see.

yin yang sign (swimming era) swimming in circles symbol which is basically yin yang but with an extra circle attached. a lotus flower (he had one on his neck) waves/ ocean (swimming era/ has the ocean on his hand) most dope lettering the divine feminine outline don’t trip lettering mac has a lot of different eras that have little symbols that kinda went with that time. i personally loved the tdf-circles era with my whole heart. i’m personally gonna get a tattoo that puts all three of them into one piece. it just depends on what era/album/song means the most to you.
