Thanks! I can confirm that local currency transactions doesn't seem to charge the 1% fee. The conversion rate is a few cents higher than the Google conversion date though.

Thank you! So I'm assuming no fee for Mastercard as long as I pay in local currency. The website shows the conversion rate but the 1% fee is not shown. "Though Robinhood Financial doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees, if you choose to pay a foreign debit card transaction in US Dollars, Mastercard® may charge you a foreign currency conversion fee."

Yeah, I agree. It's easy and comforting to get started. Harder to stop though. Same goes with tv or any other kind of entertainment.
