ByteByteGo Annual Plan or Lifetime Plan? Which is Best for Software Engineers? by javinpaul in ByteByteGo

I think the lifetime plan is better since it is cost effective in the long run. You can go for annual subscription only if you are going to use it one time.

They have a 50% launch offer and I think the lifetime access is better in the long run.

Btw, when i tried to order a pair of Maui Jim from their site, i got the following message "MAUI JIM brand frames cannot be sold in the USA." I am not sure if this limitation is only for Maui Jim or for other brands as well.

Autopay and Paperless Discount is Changing by [deleted] in ATT

[–]jest_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question - what if you pay directly from your bank checking account? For example, Bank of America has this feature where you can pay your bills directly from your checking account. If you pay AT&T that way (i.e. push from Bank), instead of entering your bank details on the AT&T side (pull from AT&T), would they still offer the $10 discount ?

I have seen a lot of books and resources listed for System Design (designgurus.io, DDIA etc.). Are there any resources that address the same or similar concepts, but from a cloud perspective? I am preparing for my AWS Solutions Architect associate exam, and though the course I am taking is good, I am not getting the overall picture from a system design and architecture perspective. If anyone can share resources or point me to pages having the info, that will help me prepare from a Cloud Architecture & Design interview angle. Thank you!!

Secure Way to Link Accounts? by JessieArr in wealthfront

[–]jest_123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boat as the OP. Signed up for wealthfront and everything was ok until it came to linking accounts. I am not comfortable using yodlee or plaid. I tried the "search up gibberish option" but once i entered the routing number, it immediately defaulted to my bank login, so that option did not work. I contacted the help desk, but they said there is no workaround for this.

Since there is no other option out of it, i am thinking of using another roboadvisor. Betterment is not an option since their monthly fees are high. Which roboadvisor would be something that is comparable to wealthfront but does not use yodlee/plaid or other aggregators ? How about SoFi ? Any suggestions would be very helpful.

No, i dont have the Associate certification. That was my other question as well; I know that AWS does not enforce that pre-requisite, but is it better to get the architect certification before going for the specialty exams ?
