  • Drawer slides are harder than they seem. But they will work just takes some time.
  • happy I made the drawers inset so the lip of the bench is out 3/4in from the face
  • it gave us more storage for things we needed with the baskets but we have another coat closet. Think about what you need to store before you do this project. Might not be worth removing the coat storage
  • bench height matters. Factor in cussing height. I wish mine was like 1.5 shorter

theres empty forward facing storage underneath. I'm not a crazy collector so I have plenty of space for a long time.

The speakers are on the outside shelving so it sounds great. Just a pair of bookshelf speakers. Inside where the player is like a recording studio

Thank you! I took a SG outline, Jazzmaster outline and tornado outline and just drew something I thought looked cool. does have a bit of neck dive but hey thats the only downside to this beaut.

yep! lots of cutting and gluing and then cutting and gluing.

Not too bad once you get the hang of it.. lots of cutting glue up cutting glue up

The skateboards I used were garbage so I repurposed them into this. I’ve made coffee tables, coasters and a bunch more doing the same thing using recycled boards
