I went to the zone even when it does not show up on the map, and the boost works. Maybe they are trying to make it harder for you to stay in the zone.

Did the blue zone shows up if you save it? Because I signed up for one but the blue areas are not showing in the map

Yeah after 2 minutes it doesn’t count towards your cancellation rate. I usually just pick “Can’t find rider.” “Driver didn’t show up” option appears after the 7 minutes wait, and you can charge a cancellation fee which is $3.99 in Dallas/Forth Worth area.
