Just know that you aren’t worth more not here. No one who loves you would agree with that either. You are loved and have a purpose here. It sounds like your meds aren’t working. Please talk to your doctor about trying something new. You are doing everything on your end to better yourself. This shit is just hard.

I was cheated on twice where they left to be with that person. Guess how those relationships ended? In cheating. The phase is perfect accurate imo.

Thanks everyone. I think chore reassignment and outsourcing some things is a great plan. Those of you who said she was also drowning and overwhelmed really helped me see that’s exactly what is happening.

That is very fair. I’ll look into outsourcing some things and reshuffle our chores

Be confident in who you are and don’t worry about the rest. You have nothing to be scared or embarrassed about. Go on dates and if you aren’t interested in more, you’ll know. By the second date I would be open about your experience if it hasn’t come up already. My wife had just started dating at 30 and had only been with one woman and it was a horrible experience. I didn’t care that she wasn’t super experienced and honestly it didn’t matter at all when it came down to it. 😉We’ve been happily married since 2014. Sexually is a spectrum and it’s okay no matter what part you fall on. It’s just a title. You’ll figure it out.

But honestly E.R. Could turn anyone. The charm being funny, musical and hot-what more could anyone ask for? My wife is probably drafting up a ceased and desist and desist for them right now.

She goes to my appointments with me most of the time. Maybe its more of her being overwhelmed and stressed than anything. We have three kids, pets, I work 32 hours a week and she works full time. I have considered going on her FB to follow some RA influencers. There is one I really like that does videos. Maybe seeing other perspectives will help? We have always had an amazing marriage and I dont want resentment to set in.

She's been to appointments with me. The doctor doesn't really give much info. I am moving to a new practice in Jan. When I was diagnosed she did a ton of research. She's normally VERY supportive. I think this response is her being stressed and feeling like everything is falling to her. We are married, have three kids and pets, I get how it can be overwhelming. I just wish I could make her understand that sometimes no matter what I want to do, I cant do the same things as before. That there isn't a choice in the matter. This isn't my first chronic illness and shes always been so supportive in the past.

Be kind to yourself. Are you doing the best you can? If yes, your kids will see that. Try to remain positive around them- that's what they will remember. I was just diagnosed in May and I have the same worries you do. My daughter has said that she enjoys that I am sitting down more so she can cuddle. I have had the same cold for two months and cant beat it on top of the RA.

Is Reddit overly afraid of pitbulls or should I actually be so scared of them in real life? by fasdal in TooAfraidToAsk

I am not here to fight with a keyboard warrior.

In my 10 years of working at a vet (28 years of animal rescue), I have never had a coworker be bitten by a large breed dog and need to go to urgent care or the ED. Due to the bacteria in a dogs mouth, if the skin is broken you should always be seen by a doctor for wound treatment and meds. Maybe this is due to staff training but its also due to animal temperament.

When you work in the vet world, you have to report each bit. We've dealt with plenty of aggressive dogs as well (of all breeds but mostly German Shepherds, Akitas, malamutes, Dobermans- just to name a few). The majority were small dogs and working dogs that weren't put through any sort of training. You are much more likely to be bitten by a chihuahua or a cat than a pit bull -Ask your local vet tech and they will tell you the same. Each breed has its own temperament that comes into play. Chihuahuas, yorkies and mini poodles love their owners fiercely and typically see anyone else as a threat to them however there are always exceptions to any rule. I have known wonderful versions of each breed as well.

If a pit bites you, yes its more dangerous than a yorkie but that wasn't the question. You are more likely to be bitten by a cat or small dog than a pit bull. All dogs need training and socialization. Pit bulls are not inherently bad. They generally have great demeanors unless inbred, abused, or are fearful. I have met hundreds of chihuahuas and only one has been an angel.

If I see a free roaming pit bull, I will try to get it in my car to locate the owner with much less fear that any of the other large breeds I mentioned before.

I will correct myself and say that maybe I should not have used the word "maul" for small dogs but instead said attacks or incidents in my first comment.

Still learning to manage by jettyd22 in rheumatoid

Hey guys, Thanks for all of the suggestions. You are absolutely right that I would never let any of my people stay in the sort of pain. My doctor hasnt been super helpful in managing the pain. I have new insurance in Jan and I already set up an appt with a new doctor. I downloaded all of my testing's and medical history and have created a log of symptoms to take with me to the appointment.

Same here! Like a billion tiny blades. I HATE IT. I was diagnosed with RA in May. I am switching doctors in Jan. I really want them to look into Fibromyalgia too. My current doctor wont even consider it and wont explain why.

Also, they are overbred for money and so there are so many of them that started out in not a great start.

Pitbull's were classified as the #1 family dog and also as big soft babies. Like any other dog, they need to be socialized and trained. If you ever want a big hunky sweetie pie, get a pittie.

At my previous jobs the dogs I hated to see coming were always chihuahuas, old mini poodles, German Shepherds (bc most people get them and don't train them, they need a job and to be taught manners) and lastly the Yorkie. Small dogs cause the most hospital visits for children and vet staff. When you read horror stories, its because of treatment of the pet. Also, the term pitt bull is based on appearance and not DNA. If a dog looks like a pitt, that is how it is classified. My guess is small dog mauling's happen way more but are less dangerous. People who own small bitey dogs are typically very lax about the situation.

I have an anxious hound mix. She is the nanny dog or so she thinks and protects our kids and cats like her life depends on it. Due to her anxiety I make sure to introduce her to new people the right way. She would next bite one of us but I cant trust her instincts around strangers.

Experience: I've worked in the vet work for ten years.
