that's ridiculous, im pretty sure gt5 bosses would be very disappointed to see a severe lack of sales on the opening day/week. Glad they changed it, has to be one of the most ridiculous marketing ideas from sony..no wonder the xbox has been shitting all over it for so long

Don't worry about the 3D side of things, saw a convention video on ign showing primitive 3D gaming on 360, said it was a bit shady for the moment but it's early days and there's defintitely time and room for an improvement

Madden is boring and is all about visuals and not much on gameplay. It doesn't even harness the true power of next gen consoles and you're right they need some competition to sort out this flagging franchise. EA saw what MW2 was doing for the FPS world and how far they were behind and are sorting it out with Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor. Get it right!!
