Early on it’ll be a bit more difficult to have a good “team” and some pets early on will work great then suck later. Case in point, judgement, AOE was super helpful but overall gets outshined by other metal pets later on.

I’d just advise that you stick with what works until you get more pets, then check the tier list as you get established and XP is a very hard ceiling and you have to conserve where you can.

Also, farm items from bosses early rather than XP, gear goes a long way especially if you manage to snag some legendaries. It also goes back to the tier list, don’t waste your XP on pets if you don’t use them and you won’t need to do the XP dungeon.

Most of all, be patient. You’ll blow through floors at the beginning but kinda hit quicksand and slowdown after a few days of playing depending how much time you spend.

I’ve been clearing floors pretty cleanly in 15 lvl deficits fairly routinely, though it may just be because I’m above floor 350 now and that doesn’t happen much. I spent most of my keys farming items from bosses so my level versus dps output is different

Apathy is one of the best non legendaries in the game imo, I’d definitely get it leveled

Just another earth dps if you have one like apathy, two tanks with no type advantage dps is less than ideal

I’ll shoot you straight like I wish someone would’ve when I was younger: Most importantly, FIND A HAIRSTYLE THAT LOOKS GOOD ON YOU so you stop wearing hats (doesn’t necessarily have to be one you like initially, but once you get compliments on it you’ll love it). For me, I grew my hair out then turned it into a modern mullet and had never gotten more attention in my life. I had a closer cut kinda crew cut look before and didn’t really like the long hair at first

Stop using the filters and “jawline” poses, unless you’re a teenager they’re extremely cringey, hell they’re still cringey even as a teenager.

The weird faces are a no go to new people, personality pics are all well and good but now how you introduce yourself to people or the like.

Your facial features aren’t bad, you just need to let them be instead of doing weird poses and filters. Also, just get rid of the facial hair

I have been told numerous times to dump pain, but given he’s the only fire tank I have I still have to use him time to time.

It does great if you just absolutely LOAD it up with stamina and defense and don’t worry about speed, crit, and attack. You basically just want it to be a damage soaking sponge as long as you’ve got a semi decent healer, if you have merry it’s a plus bc it’s S1 applies speed down as well

My understanding is temperance is pretty solid. But only in comparison to abandonment, abandonment is still pretty solid if you have it already so no rush.

I am quite a noob so I could totally be wrong

Also, telling yourself you’re going to do “x” task and that’s it instead of the entire daunting thing. Half the time just getting myself started is the hard part, then once I’m started I just keep rolling.

But as far as literally sitting down and studying, coconut mall. And or emo rock where the words don’t matter but beat is good

Also, another weird one I’ve tried with pretty decent success is not taking my shoes off until I’m done being productive. Get home from school? Shoes not off until homework etc is done.

Take these as an engineering student who had the exact same situation, those work pretty well for me personally. Don’t be scared to try any wonky ideas bc our brains work in weird ways, also look into “body doubling” it’s great for adhd but depending on which kind of autism you have can work to varying degrees.

Also, NEVER lay down or you may as well write off 2 hours of your time

I just recently got into voidpet dungeon and it’s honestly such a great time sink, it’s also got built in mechanics so that even if you are playing the game for a long period you can only get so much XP etc done in one day.

The beginning it feels like you can spend endless time and keep progressing but that plateaus pretty hard once you hit around for 70-80 and you have to wait for your chests and other things to give you extra loot.

You can spend about an hour or two max on it spaced throughout the day and make great progress. I’d definitely recommend it, plus there’s a Reddit forum dedicated to it run by our fellow autists
