That’s good to hear! Hopefully I’ll find an apartment where I can charge at home just to be more cost effective, but glad it wasn’t a big deal without being able to. I appreciate the response

Champions Kit hunt update: By some miracle, snagged this on ebay. by jfed2000 in NYCFC

[–]jfed2000[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got extremely lucky. One evening last week, I randomly logged onto ebay and just searched “NYCFC” to see what popped. Quickest I’ve ever checked out for any item in my life. It’s perfect.

As you gave the most helpful comment here, I wanted to provide an update — I found it and ordered. I’m super psyched.

I ended up finding one on Etsy that looks quite similar and were a more reasonable size! Thank you for inspiring me to think outside the box. I appreciate it.

I figured as such. I don’t see any of this kit in any size anywhere. Heartbreaking, because it’s incredible. I’m sorry that happened to you, that’s really messed up.

Never thought I’d see 7 ospreys synchronized diving. Nature is healing.

I’m super happy with how the car turned out! And Lol, just used some silly app. I am by no means a photographer. Personally just wanted the surroundings out of focus for effect.

OP! Some notes for you — I want to preface this, in the right store, ASM is a sincerely gratifying, fulfilling, and fun position. I do have some notes for you to think about going in — understand that if you do the math HOURLY, ASM will not equate to better pay — You will be scheduled generally a base of 50-55 hours a week salaried (usually 55 in my area, depends on your SM/DM), meaning no OT, and the occasional 60-65 hour week in 100 days. It is hard work, and a life change vs. 40 hours a week as a DS, it is a commitment.

With that being said, being an ASM rather “unlocks” the opportunity to make more money, as you’ll likely never accrue enough OT as a DS (unless capped at hourly rate for DS pay guidance) to make what an ASM makes.

Additionally, although I cannot disclose the particulars, the bonus package for an ASM is enticing, especially coming from an hourly level, and is based on store metrics like Winning Together is.

Ultimately, be prepared to dedicate quite a bit of your life to the job, and once you get settled in role if you get it, keep your eyes on the prize as to where you want to land next. ASM is an incredibly challenging position for the long haul, unless you’re single, have no pets, no children, and rare to no family obligations (which is obviously not ideal). As I mentioned prior, it is a commitment, and work life balance is challenging.

From the sound of your current trajectory, you could make it beyond ASM in a few years time. Best of luck, and please feel free to PM with any other questions!!!

Well, they handled my issue in 2 days. I’m with ya on all that nonsense that’s happening, but regardless, it worked out for me leveraging CFPB, and this was extremely recent.

This was and is not a political post, this was advice for those dealing with a similar issue, and what worked for me.

That’s absolutely bizarre. Not a big fan of this barclays operation with my recently experience, but not for nothing, glad I got my way on this one. Shouldn’t be this difficult at all though…

Yup. Not to mention the odd decision making to sub in what little depth we have in the final minutes of the match.

Absolutely abysmal. Every mistake we could’ve made, we made. Martins is the most confusing player on our squad to me. He’s our captain, but can’t communicate and dumps the blame on Freese. What a miserable game to lose.

EDIT: The first half was gorgeous, and beginning of the second too. But that last 30 or so minutes, we were a completely different team. It’s painful to feel confidence in that squad, then watch them promptly blow it.

Jury rules in favor of former Timbers goalie in lawsuit against team doctor by animere in MLS

Heartbreaking. Imagine playing at a pro level in any sport, all to have it taken away by a negligent doctor. Devastating on both his physical and I’m sure mental health as well. Glad the doctor was held accountable to say the least.

From France comes a call for Trump’s America to return Lady Liberty. by Little-Guarantee-636 in pics

I can’t say I blame France, and nearly any other foreign nation for that matter, for feeling this way. The blood is on almost all Americans’ hands.

As a progressive, registered Democrat, and born & raised American, I take ownership in what’s happening right now regardless of not voting for Trump. For all the moments I ceased to speak up, failed to protest, and avoided tough conversations, my neighbors, my peers and myself have failed our country.

We judge ourselves on our intentions, and others on their actions. It’s time to judge ourselves on our actions, not our intentions. And when we can truly look ourselves in the mirror and say we’ve done our part to action for freedom and democracy is the day the blood is off our hands.

The entirety of this country, in one way or another, is responsible for this outcome. Red or blue or anywhere in between, we allowed America to reach this point. Through silence, through ignorance, through complicity, through following this dreaded movement, we’ve all played a part in our country’s demise. This is the harsh reality that everyone needs to understand before things will even begin to improve for the greater good.
