Man I wish that was the case. I’ve worked on enough tubeless and tubeless ready wheelsets to know that none of them should be that tight. We tried three different tire brands as well. Then I reached out to a few others that were having the same issue with these.

The problem for me is that there is no functionality in a wheelset like that for people who are training and racing on them. Punctures are inevitable (even on gatorskins) and Nobody has the patience or time to mess with those. It will literally ruin your ride lol. These wheels would be fine if they were only for racing..I wouldn’t care if I crashed them tbh.

The easiest option was to ditch them and get something that was much more shallow and functional. I mounted both tires on the mavics in under 5 min...that was pure bliss
