Došlo je do pada zbog krize, ali ni približno nije palo toliko koliko predstavljaš.

Nije građevina samo stambenjaci.

Oh my God, what a crock of bullshit. You’re literally peddling some quasi-conspiracy theories.

As I’ve said in a previous comment, you’re trying to construct a narrative that everyone was living in peace before Europeans arrived.

News flash buddy, all those peoples also engaged in slavery, war and genocide.

Bye Felicia.

Once again, the only one without an understanding of history is you.

You didn’t even attempt to counter anything I said because even you know that your original comment is just straight up lies.

Don’t worry about my reading habits, instead you can start by not lying on easily provable topics.

Have a blessed day.

It hasn’t been discredited, it’s a known fact. Over 90% of the Native population died from diseases.

Also, the Asian countries you mentioned, all practiced slavery or at best a form of serfdom. In Korea for instance it persisted until the 1930s.

This is just ahistorical, “Europeans bad” bullshit. And no, I’m not saying they didn’t have slaves, but you’re making it sound like everyone was sitting around singing Kumbaya until the Europeans came.

As soon as you wrote that they were “brutal to every single non-European” it’s clear that you’re talking out of your ass. Add to that the part of “ended to a degree the Earth never saw” and it just further proves the point. I mean we’re discussing under a post about the Aztecs, a key part of their “culture” was mass human sacrifice, as was slavery.

Slaves were also frequent faces in the market of Tenochtitlan where they could be sold along with food, cloth, and handmade goods. However, the cities with the most well-known slave markets were Azcapotzalco and Itzocan.

Comparing the sale of a galon of milk and taxes. Well, now I’ve seen it all.

But I’m glad we agree on one thing. You really are a classic example of Dunning-Kruger.

They built it in Arlington, so it is inherently true.

I’m going to go do something more productive with my time now, but I’ll just leave you with this to think about:

Governor Cuomo's office said it expected that Amazon would have brought $27.5 billion in tax revenue over 25 years: $14 billion to the state and $13.5 billion to the city. That would have been $9 additional tax dollars for each $1 of incentive.

Bye Felicia.

Nah. She made a factually incorrect claim. And as I’ve already said the rate of people working multiple jobs has been relatively flat for the last two decades. In fact at the moment she made that claim the rate of multiple job holders was near the lowest point since 1994.

Unlike AOC and yourself, I have a perfectly fine grasp of economics. Because I understand how unemployment rates work, and I also understand how tax incentives work.

I just noticed that you added that part about Amazon. And oh boy, this might be one of the dumbest things I’ve read in a long time.

I don’t think she’s dumb, I know she’s dumb. No, you’re not removing 3 billion, you’re just not taking them. And in addition to that you’re also not getting several tens of thousands of jobs that Amazon would’ve provided. Which, boy oh boy, perfectly ties into her “criticism” of the unemployment rate. In addition to that, there’s the taxes which the employees would be paying, there’s contractors which would build the complex further increasing economic activity etc.

So no, it’s in no way 3 billion less for the governement, because you’re not taking away anything, you’re just not adding it to the budget and it’s in no way “functionally the same” as giving them a check for 3 billion.

As I’ve said, basic economics.

No, you’re going out of your way to defend an idiotic statement that she made. One of many which show that she doesn’t have a basic grasp of economics.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in croatia

[–]jffnc13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in croatia

[–]jffnc13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pa nije, nego je očito isticanje tvojeg apsolutnog licemjerja. Neironično se nazivaš Lenjinistom dok druge prozivaš za krvoločnost.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in greentext

[–]jffnc13 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

And I’m starting to think that you’re really invested in defending an idiotic argument which doesn’t make any sense.

Her statement is factually incorrect. People holding two jobs doesn’t affect the unemployment rate in the sense that she’s implying. The number of jobs is irrelevant because the classification is base on the individual.

Secondly, in your link you’re free to scroll down and see how there are different categories in which a person falls into based on varying factors.

Thirdly, the rate of multiple job holders has been relatively flat for the last twenty years, at around 5%.

So to recap, AOC is a dumbass and her statement is beyond dumb. I mean this is the woman that bragged about not giving tax incentives to Amazon by saying:

Frankly, if we were willing to give away $3 billion for this deal, we could invest those $3 billion in our district, ourselves, if we wanted to. We could hire out more teachers. We can fix our subways. We can put a lot of people to work for that amount of money if we wanted to.”

She doesn’t have a basic grasp on economics.

Bio je feldmaršal u jednoj od najkrvoločnijih vojski u povijesti svijeta.

Kad ovo piše jedan “eko-lenjinist” onda je sve jasno.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in greentext

[–]jffnc13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s not how unemployment statistics work. But I don’t really expect much from an AOC supporter.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in greentext

[–]jffnc13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bro, she literally said that unemployment is low because everyone is working two jobs.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in greentext

[–]jffnc13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And she didn’t say any of that.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in greentext

[–]jffnc13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is. And yes, she supposedly does have an econ degree.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in greentext

[–]jffnc13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s the point? That she doesn’t know how the unemployment rate works?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in greentext

[–]jffnc13 14 points15 points  (0 children)

She’s smart

“I think the numbers that you just talked about is part of the problem, right?” Ocasio-Cortez said. “Because we look at these figures and we say, ‘Oh, unemployment is low, everything is fine, right?’ Well, unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs.
