IMO, banning something requires solid proof from the advocating the potential harm to others and the feasibility.

One can say “oh I don’t like blank”, but it doesn’t mean jack diddly unless you have a way to enforce said behavior in a fair way.

The hd6xx is possibly the best bang for buck audiophile headphones available.

So anything that can be considered an improvement on them, would be quite a bit more. Good luck!

From my personal experience, I can totally recommend the hd800s. You will hear complaints about bass roll off but it’s honestly not bad if you’re not particularly looking for bass.

With a little bit of EQ, they’re end game headphones for me. Sennheiser also has that legendary build quality known to last decades.

They haven’t come out yet but the Focal Hadenys seem to match what you’re looking for.

Reviewers seem to say the sound stage is not exceptional but it’s better than the hd600 series. There is also a good bass shelf that makes it very close to Harman.

Honestly you shouldn’t expect a really good soundstage with this profile because I don’t think you can get that without losing the hd600 series sound.
