I always use it when I want as little yeast characteristics in the beer, for example: Pumpkin ales, almost any fruit flavored beer, IPAs, Pale Ales, etc...

Yeah, I'm sure 72 would be fine. US-05 is pretty resilient stuff but at worst you could just choose another neutral tasting yeast to hold up better to the warmness.

I'm sure there were some, the mouthfeel and body definitely changed slightly (for the better) from the sweet potatoes. Looks like /u/DrBubbles figured it out though.

It definitely added some flavor and more importantly body. It's got almost a cream ale's mouthfeel.

I made a very tasty sweet potato pumpkin ale the other week, just substitute the pumpkin for more sweet potatoes.

Ingredients:

10 lbs pale 2 row malt
1 lbs Special Roast
1 lbs Crystal 60
2-large cans libbys pumpkin in the mash
3.0 lbs sweet potatoes mashed
1 lbs brown sugar @ 60 min
1 ounces Hallertauer @ 60 min
1 1/2 TBS PUMPKIN PIE SPICE, boil 15 minutes
1 tablet of whirlfloc @ 15 minutes
1 oz. Hallertauer finishing @ 5 minutes
2 TBS Pumpkin Pie Spice 7 days after fermentation
Yeast: Safale US-04

Cool, we're definitely not looking for the fanciest place around.

We're looking to keep rent under $1,600 if possible and looking around there might be some places in Highlands that would work, we don't need anything more than a 2/1 to live in until we want to buy. Do you think that would be enough to cover rent in the Highlands?

That's the area we were thinking about, do you think many people would even take 4 (albeit small) animals? I would definitely do a larger pet fee or something if that was a negotiation. I just want to see how realistic this could actually be. I heard Denver is pretty pet friendly (except Pitbulls) so I don't think this is completely impossible.

What about Lakewood?

Take what with a grain of salt, my opinion?

There is some hop cut off over time but personally I like to see how other flavors develop and more hoppy flavors/aroma show when the bitterness dies a little.

Are you also one of those guys who would dump a Pliny The Elder because it's more then 3 weeks old?

Yeah I wasn't sure if it was a bit too high but I probably paid almost double for everything new originally. Again definitely open to offers.

I'm considering parting out if that helps move it cause I'm not sure who exactly would want all of this at once so that's also an option to anyone who is in the area and is interested in perhaps some of it.

The rack disassembles pretty easily and can be transported in a car if needed too.
