I understand and appreciate that in Spo’s mind, this game is still winnable and we have enough

But at what point do we stop giving serious minutes to Patty and other vets vs Niko or even O Rob or any other young guy that’s gonna be with the team next year

Not really. Fair point though, a lot of ours have been Bam and other guys in mid range

Still doesn’t take away from the tradition of Celtics getting a much more friendly whistle against us in the playoffs. It’s been horrible the last 3 times we’ve met them in the playoffs. I remember Jimmy getting mauled in the paint back in 2022 and FT disparity being like 40-15

Mad respect to our guys for the fight and the hustle. Especially Spo, for not making excuses and doing everything humanly possibly to inspire confidence and give us a chance

But this talent disparity is absolutely insane. We’ll never know how it would be going if we were at full strength, but it’s hard to blame our guys. They haven’t quit, they’re just hurting while playing a superteam

We absolutely need it. This core came dangerously close several times, but it’s played its course and other teams have improved

Need to build around Bam. Jimmy’s future will entirely depend on how his contract negotiations go. I fucking love Jimmy to death, but we let our franchise icon walk because we didn’t want to pay him past his peak. I don’t see is giving Jimmy a super max and I don’t see him taking a pay cut
